When you join our team as a Teacher you will: Assistant the Site Director to implement Champions curriculum in a way that supports the unique needs of each child. Supervise children while maintaining health and safety standards in a nurturing environment where children can play and learn. Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children. Cultivate positive relationships with families, site staff, school personnel, as well as other community partners.
Required Skills and Experience:
Outstanding communication skills and strong customer service values Warm and welcoming demeanor with the ability to provide only positive child guidance Meet state specific guidelines for the role Use a computer, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors. Ability to work a flexible schedule that adjusts based on program needs. Able to assume postures in low levels to interact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children. Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in
English Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour

An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents.
