The Secular Studies Teacher will instruct Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten students in small classes, offering both half-day and full-day sessions. The teacher will engage students actively while maintaining communication with parents and tracking student progress. Responsibilities Plan and prepare lessons tailored to Pre-K and Kindergarten students Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment Deliver curriculum effectively to meet educational standards Engage students to promote active learning and participation Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities Prepare classroom materials and learning resources Collaborate with teaching team through team teaching and independent classroom management Assess student learning and provide progress reports Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of teaching experience Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Teaching certification Strong classroom management skills Experience with curriculum development Knowledge of child development principles Effective communication skills Proficient lesson planning abilities Conflict resolution skills Patience and adaptability in the classroom
