Aug 25, 2026 Job Description Grade 2 Classroom Teacher Coastal Ridge Elementary is seeking a dedicated and collaborative educator to join our Grade 2 team for the upcoming school year. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher looking to engage with a vibrant school community and make a meaningful impact on our students' foundational years. Key Responsibilities Design and implement engaging, standards-based lessons tailored to the developmental needs of second-grade learners. Foster a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment. Collaborate closely with the Grade 2 professional learning community (PLC) to analyze student data and refine instructional practices. Maintain open and proactive communication with families regarding student progress and well-being. Qualifications Current Maine teaching certification valid for Elementary Education (K-8 or equivalent). Strong understanding of early literacy and numeracy development. A commitment to social-emotional learning and building a supportive classroom culture.
