An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

At the core of our vision are our teachers. We seek a dedicated educator passionate about inspiring engagement and creating a vibrant learning atmosphere within our After School Enrichment Program.Ideal Candidate:
Is enthusiastic about engaging students. Has a background in classroom teaching or has experience as a camp counselor. Is patient and reliable. Has the ability to find creative ways to engage students of all agesRequirements:
Teach students during the day (specific dates and times will depend on class location). Have reliable transportation to commute to the campus. Adherence to school COVID protocols is mandatory.Key Responsibilities:
Use our programs to deliver lessons effectively, emphasizing interactive learning. Actively engage all students in the learning process. Work collaboratively with teachers and parents. Attend regular meetings to maintain alignment and uphold quality standards.Skills & Experience:
Demonstrated experience in teaching or tutoring. A robust understanding of teaching methodologies and best practices. A readiness to adhere to the school's and VAC Enrichment's policies and procedures, including those pertaining to COVID. Exemplary interpersonal skills.
