Upper Elementary Teacher

Innocademy Allegan Campus, a small Y5 through 8th-grade school in Fennville, MI, is seeking a caring, flexible, and collaborative teacher to lead a self-contained upper elementary classroom. The teacher will build meaningful relationships with students and families, create engaging learning experiences, and support student growth through responsive instruction, consistency, and care. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction in core subject areas for upper elementary students Create a positive, structured classroom environment that supports both academic and social-emotional growth Differentiate instruction to meet a range of student learning needs Use assessment data to guide instruction and monitor student progress Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and classroom updates Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and schoolwide goals Participate in school meetings, professional development, and other assigned duties Maintain accurate student records and meet instructional and reporting expectations Qualifications Valid Michigan teaching certificate with appropriate elementary endorsement Ability to teach in a self-contained elementary classroom Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills Commitment to supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of students Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Experience with differentiated instruction preferred Experience in a small school or flexible learning environment preferred Schedule Balanced Calendar (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1KEN0Cti6PLcIoZvfJCEmuFBrFWok2UZ7/view?usp=drive_link) 2026-2027 School Year Full-time, exempt.
