Job Description

Elementary Spanish Teacher (23.5 hours/week)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, approximately 10:30am-3:00pm
Compensation:
$25/hour plus Monthly allotment for lesson planning Since 2001, Futura Language Professionals has been one of the nation's leading Spanish language programs for children. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a confident, steady, and student‑focused Spanish Teacher to join our Integrated Spanish team in the Twin Cities suburbs. Position Overview This daytime teaching role is ideal for educators who enjoy working in structured elementary environments and can guide students with clarity, consistency, and positive routines. Students range from Kindergarten to 5th grade.

Teacher will be responsible for: Creating lesson plans using Futura's curriculum Delivering engaging, interactive Spanish instruction Maintaining consistent classroom routines and expectations Supporting positive student behavior and classroom flow Providing and submitting weekly grades Communicating professionally with school staff and the Futura Management Team We Provide Proven curriculum and support materials Monthly allotment for lesson planning Expense reimbursement Two weeks paid vacation during winter and spring break Consistent support from the Futura Management Team Ongoing professional development opportunities What We're Looking For We are seeking a dynamic, self‑motivated educator with: Bachelor's degree (minimum) Strong Spanish proficiency Experience teaching or working with children Resilience, professionalism, and a steady classroom presence Ability to maintain clear expectations with warmth and consistency Tier 1 teaching license (strongly preferred) Reliable transportation Apply Today Candidates may apply by sending a resume and cover letter to Amina Dioury by responding to this ad.
