An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

GPAC is partnering with a great K-8 school focused on equity and excellence in Minneapolis to identify their next 1st Grade Teacher to help students find joy and success as readers, writers and thinkers. This school is seeking a candidate for this full time, on-site position who is mission-driven, resourceful and passionate about helping all students succeed Position Summary The Elementary School Teacher will provide a learning experience that is culturally relevant, challenging and fun. Candidates should be driven to prepare children for the future by helping them build confidence and a strong sense of self-worth. LICENSURE
