Responsibilities Develop and implement Montessori-based curriculum tailored to the developmental needs of children in your classroom Facilitate hands-on learning experiences that promote literacy, math, physical education, and overall child development Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques Maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment in compliance with health and safety standards, including first aid and CPR protocols Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress, address concerns, and foster strong home-school connections Document student progress through assessments, standardized testing results, and detailed lesson plans Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, classroom management strategies, and special education accommodations Experience Valid Montessori certification demonstrating expertise in early childhood education or preschool teaching methods Proven experience working with children across toddler to preschool age groups in classroom settings Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing child development instruction Experience working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is highly desirable Knowledge of childhood welfare laws, mandated reporting laws, and best practices in behavior management Familiarity with classroom management techniques for diverse learners and experience teaching physical education or tutoring is advantageous Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners Embark on a rewarding journey where your skills foster growth and discovery!
