Job Description

Immanuel Academy is a private, K-12 Christian school accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). Our school is known for its supportive community, joyful and respectful students, and collaborative team culture. Our teacher to students ratio is 1:8, which creates an opportunity to get a deeper connection with students and make positive influences in their lives. We are currently seeking one passionate teacher who love God, have passion for children's education, can teach English and social studies, and is committed to academic excellence within a Christ-centered environment.
Key Qualifications:
A personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Bachelor's degree or higher (required). Prior experience as a lead classroom teacher, preferred but not required. Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and engage in the full life of the school. Want to learn new things, be diligent, and open to feedbacks.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a spiritual leader and role model for students, reflecting Christian ethics and integrity in all areas of life and teaching. Create and implement dynamic lesson plans regarding of English and Social Studies—infused with biblical principles. Follow Immanuel Academy's teaching methodology while ensuring students meet or exceed academic standards and high-priority learning objectives. Utilize diverse instructional strategies to meet the needs of all learners, including English Language Learners and students with special needs. Support students in their social-emotional development, guiding them in making wise choices, developing self-control, and understanding expectations. Maintain an organized, clean, and engaging classroom environment conducive to whole-group and small-group learning. Communicate regularly with parents about student progress, class expectations, and school activities. Contribute to a collaborative, respectful, and Christ-centered professional community.
