An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

Responsibilities include:
Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction across core subject areas (ELA, math, science, and social studies) Create a classroom culture that reflects ASD's core beliefs: curiosity as a catalyst for learning, high expectations, and a commitment to global citizenship Integrate hands-on, project-based, and inquiry-driven learning experiences that build a foundation for ASD's STEM curriculum Differentiate instruction to support a wide range of learners Collaborate with fellow teachers, specialists, and school leadership on curriculum development and student support Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment
Qualifications:
