DESCRIPTION
Leave Replacement, Elementary Teacher
POSITION SUMMARY
Provide daily instruction for students in accordance with Board approved curriculum. The Leave Replacement Teacher will be teaching third grade, collaborating with our third grade team to help all students grow and enjoy learning. Come join a dedicated, supportive, and caring staff. QUALIFICATIONS
Appropriate New Jersey Certification required: Elementary Certification Ability to maintain a positive learning environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills Compliance with the
NJ FIRST
Act Successful Criminal History Clearance Proof of U.S. Citizenship or appropriate employment authorization
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT 10
- Month Contract. Salary and benefits as determined by the Board of Education and any applicable and collective negotiations agreement.
COMPENSATION
In accordance with the provisions of the
BOE/FTEA
collective bargaining agreement, the salary range for this position in the 26/27 SY is Step 1 BA/BS ($68,023) - Step 18 PhD/EdD ($99,380), prorated. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and education.

ANNUAL EVALUATION
Performance is reviewed annually in accordance with NJ State law and the provisions of the Board of Education policy on evaluations for certificated staff.
TECHNOLOGY SKILLS
Ability to be proficient in computer applications pertinent to support the position, including but not limited Google Suite, IEP software program and Genesis Employee Portal and Student Information System.
