This role offers an exciting opportunity to foster a love of learning, develop foundational skills, and promote academic excellence in a dynamic educational environment. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to nurturing student growth through engaging lessons, personalized mentoring, and innovative teaching strategies that cater to diverse learning needs. Paid positions are available, with a focus on creating a positive, motivating atmosphere that encourages curiosity and achievement. Duties Provide homework support and tutoring to reinforce classroom learning, helping students develop confidence and independence. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management techniques, fostering a respectful and productive learning environment. Mentor students by offering guidance on academic goals, social skills, and personal development, promoting holistic growth. Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessments while ensuring proofreading of all instructional materials for clarity and correctness. Experience Proven classroom experience teaching students in grades 2 through 6 with a background in lesson planning and curriculum development. Demonstrated expertise in teaching Math, English, literacy education, and standardized testing preparation. Experience working with children of diverse backgrounds. Familiarity with learning technology platforms, library services for educational resources, and classroom management tools. Prior experience tutoring or mentoring students outside regular classroom hours is highly desirable. Knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education practices , and behavior management techniques.
