An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

What You'll Do Teach engaging 4th and 5th grade Math and Social Studies lessons aligned with Ohio learning standards. Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment. Develop differentiated instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners. Use creative and engaging teaching strategies to keep students motivated. Monitor student progress and use assessment data to guide instruction. Provide additional support and intervention when needed. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, support staff, and families. Maintain accurate student records and instructional documentation. Encourage students to develop strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Support students' academic, social, and personal development. What We're Looking For We're looking for an educator who is: Passionate about teaching elementary students. Patient, adaptable, and student-centered. Strong in classroom management. Creative and engaging in their instructional approach. A strong communicator and team player. Committed to helping every student reach their potential. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a related field. Valid Ohio teaching license/certification appropriate for the position. Elementary teaching experience preferred. Experience teaching Math and/or Social Studies preferred.
