Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

Daily District Substitute Teacher (Elementary) Gahanna-Jefferson City School District Gahanna, OH Job Details Full-time $175 a day 2 hours ago Qualifications Substitute Teaching Certification Teaching Certification Bachelor's degree Elementary school teaching experience Experience working with elementary school students Entry level Full Job Description Daily District substitute teachers are guaranteed to work every school day and report to an assigned "home" school each morning. This role will be reassigned to different buildings as daily needs arise. This role will be return to their daily "home" school when the needs are met at the other location. A Bachelor's Degree in any field qualifies for this position. If you do not currently hold a valid Teaching License or Substitute Teaching License through the Ohio Department of Education, the District will assist you in obtaining the appropriate licensure.
