We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our 4th grade team. This position is ideal for an enthusiastic educator who loves inspiring young learners and fostering a positive classroom environment. The 4th grade teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, managing classroom dynamics, and ensuring that all students meet their individual academic goals.Key Responsibilities:
Implement and adapt the 4th-grade ELA curriculum according to state standards and district guidelines. Prepare and deliver engaging lessons that accommodate diverse learning styles and levels. Build a positive and respectful classroom environment where students feel safe to express themselves. Maintain classroom rules and expectations to promote a productive learning atmosphere. Encourage positive behavior and manage any disciplinary issues using fairness and consistency. Assess student progress through ongoing observation, quizzes, and assignments. Provide constructive feedback to students on their work and assist them in setting academic goals. Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate updates to parents as needed. Work closely with the grade-level team and support staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience for all students. Collaborate with special education professionals to support students with diverse needs. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues about student progress and classroom activities. Foster strong relationships with students to encourage motivation, participation, and engagement in learning.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. Valid teaching license or credential for the appropriate grade level/subject area. Previous teaching or substitute teaching experience, particularly in upper elementary grades. Strong understanding of 4th-grade content and effective instructional strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build rapport with students.Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and engage with students and staff for extended periods.Additional Information:
