9/1/2026 - 6/21/2027 PURPOSE Instructs classes in band or orchestra so that students develop skills in instrumental technique and music reading. SKPS seeks an orchestral strings teacher to lead instruction at the beginner programs at Schirle and Sumpter Elementary Schools. The successful candidate will work with area colleagues to administer the programs and to develop and deliver the curriculum in both schools. Deep experience in at least one orchestral stringed instrument, and good working knowledge of all others, along with a strong pedagogical foundation are highly preferred skills. Additionally, a strong desire for working with young students and providing beginning students with a solid technical foundation is desired. Candidate will be eligible for the elementary instrumental differential.Type:
