Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory for this role. Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Lancaster. This full-time role will begin after October half term and continue for the remainder of the academic year, with the opportunity to become a permanent member of staff for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum and school expectations. Plan, prepare and assess learning to support pupil progress. Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with SEND and EAL. Maintain strong classroom management and promote positive behaviour. Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback. Create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment. Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues and parents to support pupil outcomes. Uphold safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies at all times. Contribute positively to the wider school community. The Ideal Candidate Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Has experience teaching within a primary school setting. Has a clear understanding of safeguarding and keeping children safe in education. Is enthusiastic, reliable and committed to providing high-quality learning experiences. Can build strong, positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents. Is adaptable and confident teaching across different year groups and ability levels. Is available for full-time work from after October half term.
