Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and classroom events through meetings, phone calls, or written updates. Follow mandated reporting laws and school policies diligently to ensure student safety and compliance with legal requirements. Skills Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and curriculum implementation tailored for early childhood learners. Proven experience working with children from diverse cultural backgrounds, including children with autism or special education needs. Excellent classroom management skills coupled with effective behavior management strategies to foster a positive learning environment. Ability to adapt instructional methods based on individual student needs and classroom dynamics. Experience working with preschool-aged children in private or public school settings is preferred. Exceptional communication skills for engaging with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators professionally. Familiarity with childhood development principles, literacy education, math instruction, and early childhood pedagogies. Competence in using educational technologies and computers to support instruction.
