An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

Job Description

Established Child Care Center is seeking an energetic Kindergarten teacher. The ideal candidate will create a warm, engaging, and structured learning environment that inspires young learners to explore, imagine and grow.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans in core subjects (literacy, numeracy, science, and social studies). Foster a safe, inclusive, and joyful classroom environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and respect. Assess student progress regularly and communicate effectively with parents through conferences, progress reports, and ongoing updates. Collaborate with colleagues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Experience in a teaching setting is helpful but not required Enthusiasm, patience, and creativity This may be a perfect opportunity for individuals who have recently completed their teaching certification and would like to gain valuable classroom experience, or those individuals who stepped away from teaching and are looking to return. We offer free childcare for teachers with young children. Salary is based on qualifications and experience.
