Job Description

Olentangy Schools is seeking qualified candidates for a Grade 1 (1-Year Replacement Contract) position(s) available at Indian Springs Elementary School for the 2026-27 school year. This position will help students learn subject matters and skills that will facilitate maximum learning experiences and contribute to their development as mature, capable and responsible adults; create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students; guide the learning process toward the achievement of curricular goals. Qualified candidates must hold or be eligible to hold valid and appropriate licensure for each position with the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.

Employment status: Certified, 185-Day, 1-Year Replacement Employment Contract

Qualifications for the position include:

Valid and appropriate Ohio teaching certificate/license

Bachelor's degree in education from an accredited college or university

Alternative to the above qualifications as Superintendent and/or Board of Education may find appropriate

Keep in mind that the Teacher Candidate Assessment is a timed assessment, so please set aside approximately 45 minutes of uninterrupted time before you begin the process. Once the assessment is started, it must be completed within the designated time frame, and multiple attempts to complete the assessment are not permitted.
