Full Job Description Description:
The Founding Elementary Teacher (Grades 3-5) position is responsible for providing engaging, live virtual instruction to students in Grades 3 through 5 while helping establish the academic culture, instructional systems, and traditions of a growing program. As a founding teacher, this individual will play an important role in shaping both the student experience and the future direction of Founders at Home. During the program's inaugural year, enrollment is expected to remain intentionally small, allowing teachers to develop meaningful relationships with students and families while collaborating with leadership to build a high-quality, scalable educational model.
Requirements:
Deliver high-quality, synchronous virtual instruction to students in Grades 3-5. Foster an engaging classroom culture rooted in the principles of classical education. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic needs of learners. Prepare students for success in middle school through rigorous instruction and strong organizational habits. Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and expectations. Monitor student achievement and provide timely, meaningful feedback. Collaborate with program leadership to strengthen curriculum, instructional practices, and operational systems. Participate in faculty meetings, professional learning, and school events. Maintain accurate student records and ensure compliance with all state and program requirements.
