Duties Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy, math, science, social studies, and physical education. Utilize diverse teaching strategies to accommodate various learning styles and ensure differentiated instruction that meets individual student needs. Monitor and assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, analyzing performance data to inform instructional adjustments. Incorporate educational technology tools and learning technology platforms to enhance classroom engagement and facilitate interactive learning experiences. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management techniques, fostering a respectful and inclusive environment. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, school initiatives, and student support programs such as special education, early intervention, and Montessori methods. Maintain clear communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavioral concerns, and upcoming activities through regular updates and parent-teacher conferences. Experience Proven classroom experience in elementary education with a strong understanding of childhood development principles. Experience working with children with diverse needs, including those with autism or requiring special education accommodations. Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum implementation plans that align with educational standards and compliance regulations. Skilled in classroom management techniques that promote a positive learning environment while maintaining discipline. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures, literacy education strategies, math instruction, and early childhood education best practices. Experience integrating educational technology tools such as interactive whiteboards, learning management systems, and digital resources into daily lessons. Prior involvement in tutoring or private school settings is advantageous; experience working with children from various backgrounds enhances your adaptability.
