  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Elementary Bilingual Kinder
  • 1st Grade Teacher to inspire young learners in a vibrant, nurturing classroom environment.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to foster early childhood development through engaging lessons and personalized support, all while promoting bilingual education. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to creating a positive learning atmosphere that encourages curiosity, creativity, and confidence in students. You will play a vital role in guiding children through their foundational years, ensuring they develop essential literacy, math, social skills, and a love for learning. Duties Develop and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards that incorporate bilingual instruction and early childhood education principles. Foster a supportive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies that promote respect, cooperation, and independence. Utilize learning technology and educational resources to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement. Conduct assessments, including standardized testing preparations, to monitor student progress and tailor instruction accordingly. Provide individualized tutoring and support for students with diverse learning needs, including those with autism or requiring early intervention strategies. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, special education initiatives, and school-wide programs to ensure comprehensive student support. Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, Montessori methods, literacy education, math instruction, and teaching physical education. Maintain clear communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavioral issues, and classroom activities. Support library services by integrating literacy activities that promote reading comprehension and writing skills across the curriculum. Mentor new teachers or teaching assistants to foster a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement. Experience Prior classroom experience working with early childhood students in a bilingual setting is highly preferred. Demonstrated expertise in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques tailored for kindergarten and first-grade learners. Experience working with children with special needs or in inclusive classrooms is advantageous. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools used in early childhood education. Knowledge of childhood development theories such as Montessori or other educational philosophies enhances instructional effectiveness. Proven ability to communicate effectively with young children, parents, staff, and administration using strong writing skills and active listening skills. Previous private school experience or work within early intervention programs is a plus but not required.
