Montessori Potty Training Teacher
Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Montessori Potty Training Teacher to support young children in their developmental milestones. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing environment that encourages independence and confidence during the potty training process. This role involves working closely with children, parents, and team members to ensure a positive and effective potty training experience. The position requires flexibility in work hours, with shifts typically from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm or 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Duties Guide and support children through the potty training process using Montessori methods and age-appropriate techniques. Observe individual children's readiness cues and tailor approaches accordingly. Foster a positive, encouraging atmosphere that promotes independence and self-care skills. Communicate regularly with parents regarding progress, challenges, and strategies for at-home reinforcement. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment conducive to learning and development. Collaborate with other educators and staff to integrate potty training into daily routines seamlessly. Monitor children's behavior and provide gentle guidance to reinforce good hygiene habits. Document progress and any concerns related to each child's potty training journey. Skills Prior experience working with young children in educational or caregiving settings, preferably within Montessori environments. Strong understanding of child development stages related to potty training. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively. Patience, empathy, and a nurturing demeanor essential for working with young children during transitional phases. Ability to observe children closely and adapt strategies based on individual needs. Organizational skills to track progress and maintain documentation accurately. Flexibility to work within the specified time frames of either 8:30 am

Pay:
$18.50
