An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

Pay:
$17.00 - $21.00 per hour Job description: Pinnacle Montessori of Georgetown is seeking an experienced, nurturing, and passionate Pre-Primary Montessori Teacher to guide our pre-primary classroom for children ages 18-36 months. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing Montessori community and make a meaningful impact on young learners during these formative years.
Position Overview:
The Lead Montessori Teacher is responsible for creating and leading a developmentally appropriate, Montessori-aligned environment that fosters independence, exploration, and a love of learning for toddlers.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and implement a Montessori toddler curriculum Create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment Observe, assess, and document each child's progress and milestones Foster emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development in alignment with Montessori principles Build strong, positive relationships with families and maintain open communication Mentor and collaborate with assistant teachers Ensure compliance with Texas Child Care Licensing requirements and school policies
Qualifications:
Montessori Toddler/Primary Certification preferred Experience leading a toddler classroom (18-36 months) Deep understanding of Montessori philosophy and child development CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor
