An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

Our school operates Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 AM-2:00 PM , with Mondays designated as an Enrichment Day . First day of school is September 1, 2026.
Responsibilities The successful candidate will:
Create a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered classroom environment. Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons. Integrate biblical truth naturally throughout daily instruction. Foster children's spiritual, academic, social, emotional, and physical growth. Teach foundational literacy, mathematics, science, fine motor, and social skills. Encourage creativity through art, music, movement, and hands-on learning. Maintain positive classroom management with love, consistency, and grace. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress. Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership. Maintain accurate attendance, lesson plans, and student records. Participate in professional development and school events. Model Christian character in speech, conduct, and relationships.
Qualifications Preferred candidates will possess:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field. Texas Teacher Certification or eligibility to obtain certification (preferred). CDA, Early Childhood certification, or equivalent experience will also be considered. Experience teaching preschool or early elementary students. Strong classroom management and organizational skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a lifestyle consistent with biblical values. Agreement with ReGen Academy's Statement of Faith and educational philosophy. Ability to pass criminal background screening and meet all employment requirements.
