Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated 2nd Grade Teacher to join our team. As an Elementary School Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping young minds and creating a positive learning environment for students.Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum
- Provide instruction in various subjects to elementary school students
- Utilize learning technology to enhance classroom lessons
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
- Manage student behavior effectively using proven strategies
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and development
- Mentor and guide students to reach their full potential
- Implement early intervention strategies for students who require additional support
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Teaching certification/license preferred
- Experience working with students in an educational setting
- Special education experience is a plus
- Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development
- Strong understanding of behavior management techniques
- Ability to work with diverse student populations, including those with autism
