Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated 2nd Grade Teacher to join our team. As an Elementary School Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping young minds and creating a positive learning environment for students.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum
  • Provide instruction in various subjects to elementary school students
  • Utilize learning technology to enhance classroom lessons
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Manage student behavior effectively using proven strategies
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and development
  • Mentor and guide students to reach their full potential
  • Implement early intervention strategies for students who require additional support
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Teaching certification/license preferred
  • Experience working with students in an educational setting
  • Special education experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development
  • Strong understanding of behavior management techniques
  • Ability to work with diverse student populations, including those with autism
