Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and passionate Pre-Kindergarten Teacher to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes early childhood development through structured lessons, play-based learning, and arts integration. Duties Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans tailored to preschool-aged children that incorporate literacy, math, physical education, and arts activities. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere with effective behavior management and classroom management strategies. Support children's social-emotional growth through child development instruction and individualized attention. Communicate regularly with parents about student progress, milestones, and classroom activities to build strong home-school connections. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and uphold child welfare standards at all times. Incorporate early intervention techniques to support children with diverse learning needs or developmental delays. Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and active participation. Requirements Proven experience working with young children in a preschool or early childhood education setting. Knowledge of curriculum development, childhood development principles, and behavior management techniques. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in child welfare is preferred. Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention strategies, and standardized testing is advantageous. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues. Demonstrated ability to plan lessons that promote literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional learning.
