Elementary Teacher:

Teach whole class and small groups of children core curriculum. Integrate rich hands-on experiences and explorations. Use learning experiences and assessments to inform instruction and create individualized and small group learning experiences. Use Responsive Classroom structures and principles to inform effective classroom routines and management. Demonstrate the ability to proactively reflect on and participate in discussions around identity and belonging. Incorporate the development of social-emotional and problem-solving skills. Participate in faculty duties, such as student supervision during recess, lunch, arrival and dismissal. Collaborate with learning specialist and school counselor on academic, social, or emotional issues Qualifications of the

Elementary Teacher:

BS/BA or equivalent in a relevant discipline. Five years' experience as a teacher in the K-5 classroom environment. Digital literacy and proficiency in basic computing including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. First Aid/C.P.R. training Ability to pass a criminal background check.
