Based on Experience About the Job Carousel Child Care is looking for a caring, dependable, and energetic Pre-K Teacher to join our team! If you love working with young children and enjoy helping them learn, grow, and get ready for kindergarten, we'd love to hear from you. Our Pre-K teachers create a fun and positive classroom where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. You'll spend your day teaching, playing, creating activities, and helping children build the skills and confidence they need for their next step. What You'll Do Plan and lead fun, age-appropriate Pre-K activities Help children develop early reading, writing, math, science, and social skills Keep children safe and actively supervised throughout the day Encourage positive behavior, independence, and teamwork Keep the classroom clean, organized, and welcoming Help with daily routines, meals, bathroom needs, rest time, and transitions Communicate with parents about their child's day and progress Work together with other teachers and staff Complete daily classroom paperwork and incident reports when needed Follow all health, safety, and childcare requirements Participate in staff training and professional development What We're Looking For Previous experience working with Pre-K or preschool children is strongly preferred Someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children Patient, caring, energetic, and dependable Comfortable managing a busy Pre-K classroom Good communication skills Works well with other teachers and staff Comfortable communicating with parents CPR and Pediatric First Aid certification required, or willingness to obtain Experience working with children with special needs is a plus Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is kind, patient, dependable, and excited to work with children every day.
