Aug 31, 2026 Job Description Addison Central School District Classroom Teacher 2026-2027 Addison Central School District, a K-12 International Baccalaureate district, is seeking a full-time Elementary Classroom Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year to teach 4th grade. Successful candidates will demonstrate an interest in child development, commitment to student-centered, inquiry-based teaching and learning, and the ability to differentiate instruction around student learning styles and abilities. Candidates should possess a passion for engaging youth in learning that matches emerging passions, utilizing multiple sources of evidence of student learning, collaborating on a teaching team, and demonstrate a growth mindset about their own practice. Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate Primary Year Programme curriculum is a plus. Qualified candidates must hold an appropriate current Vermont teaching license with an Elementary Education Endorsement (100).
