4K / Kindergarten (Multi-Age) Teacher - Capitoland Christian School Full-Time | Fall 2026 Start | Benefits Included Capitoland Christian School is seeking a passionate and nurturing early childhood/elementary teacher to join our team beginning Fall 2026. This full-time position focuses on supporting the academic, social-emotional, and spiritual growth of young learners in a Christ-centered environment. The classroom may be multi-age (ages 4-6, 4K/Kindergarten), depending on enrollment. As our school continues to grow, there are opportunities for advancement into leadership and instructional coaching roles.

Responsibilities:

Lead a 4K/Kindergarten classroom (potentially multi-age) with engaging, age-appropriate instruction Create a safe, structured, and welcoming learning environment Plan and implement project-based, hands-on curriculum Support children's academic, social-emotional, and spiritual development Teach exploratory subjects, including art, music, Bible, and physical education Use effective classroom management strategies and support MTSS (RTI/PBIS) frameworks Communicate clearly and consistently with families Collaborate with staff to support daily operations and smooth transitions Follow all classroom routines, safety procedures, and program expectations

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education (required) DPI teaching license (required) Experience with curriculum planning, pacing, and classroom management Familiarity with

MTSS/RTI/PBIS

frameworks preferred Experience in early childhood and/or elementary education preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Commitment to working in a Christian school environment
