Job Description
Anderson University is accepting applications to join our dynamic and growing Engineering Department. We invite candidates for afull-time Engineering faculty position, commencing in Fall 2026. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electrical and/orComputer Engineering. Rank and tenure-track status will be determined based on the credentials of the selected candidate. AndersonUniversity is home to ABET accredited engineering programs including: Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,and Mechatronics Engineering. The university recently launched a new Civil Engineering degree and has a Humanitarian Engineeringprogram. Primary duties for the position include the following: Teaching undergraduate engineering courses, includinglabs where appropriate, using current tools of the industry. Mentoring students and connecting them with industryprofessionals. Generating scholarship. Serving the community by participating in departmental and university committees,advising student projects, and supporting external city-, county-, and state-level partnerships aimed towards improving STEMeducation.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Engineering or a related field. A Masters degreepaired with a PE and sufficient experience will be considered. Candidates in the areas of Electrical and/or Computer Engineering will beconsidered. Candidates should have belief in and commitment to Jesus Christ and the Christian faith as interpreted through thehistoric witness of the Bible and the contemporary ministry of the Holy Spirit. They should possess a vitality of Christian experience thatis maturing in insight and application. Candidates must meet University lifestyle expectations.Benefits:
