Exceptional early-career candidates at the rank of assistant or associate professor will be considered for the Vincent Faculty Development Chair, while outstanding mid-career and senior candidates will be considered for a distinguished professorship. We seek candidates with a doctorate in materials science, engineering or a closely-related field who show strong potential to lead an externally-funded research program targeting transformational advances in Materials Science and Engineering. Examples of research areas include but are not limited to computational modeling, advanced manufacturing, energy materials, quantum materials, and applications of ML/AI to materials development or processing.
