Position Description The Mechanical Engineering Department in the School of Engineering at Manhattan University seeks qualified adjunct faculty members to teach in its undergraduate Bachelor of Science programs. Courses may be offered during daytime or evening hours, and instruction is expected to be delivered in person on campus. Job Responsibilities Teach undergraduate and graduate mechanical engineering courses and/or laboratories in assigned areas. Deliver course materials, assignments, and assessments aligned with departmental expectations. Maintain regular communication with students and provide timely feedback on coursework. Hold office hours or provide reasonable out-of-class support for students. Work collaboratively with course coordinators and department leadership to ensure consistency of course content and learning outcomes. Requirements Applicants must hold at least a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related STEM discipline, with a minimum of a Master's degree in a relevant field of study. Prior teaching experience and/or professional engineering practice is strongly preferred. Supplemental Information Salary Range Based on
Experience:
