The Department of IndustrialEngineering (INE) in the College of Engineering at AmericanUniversity of Sharjah (AUS) invites applications for visiting and regular faculty positions at the assistant, associate or full professorlevel commencing in the Fall 2026 Semester. Successful candidates for the regular positions will be expected to establish high-level, activeresearch programs supported by internal and external funding sources. The visiting position is a one-year renewable contract, and theregular position is a three-year renewable contract. The applicant is required to have a PhD in Industrial Engineering and showevidence of a significant teaching portfolio. Excellence in teaching and research, in addition to experience in the American model of highereducation, are highly desirable. The Department of Industrial Engineering is one of the fastest-growing departments at AUS.It has approximately 400 undergraduate students, 120 graduate students, 13 full-time faculty and 1 lab instructor.
