Course:

Writing the Genre Film Understanding genre conventions and tropes is critical to a screenwriter's success. This course combines script analysis with the practice of writing short scripts for a variety of genres.

What You Will Do:

Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions while incorporating innovative teaching strategies. Engage students in cutting-edge technologies and industry trends. Assess student performance and mentor classroom success to prepare them for their chosen career path. Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.

What You Will Bring:

Minimum:

Master of Fine Arts in Film Production or Screenwriting from an accredited college or university AND At least two years professional experience within the film industry.
