jobs@point.edu Description Point University is seeking part-time instructors to teach English for its DCE programs at partner schools in the Atlanta Metro area. Copies of graduate transcripts are required for applications to be considered. Point University is an independent liberal arts institution that educates our students within a Christian worldview. Primary teaching responsibilities will include:
ENG101: Critical Reading and Writing
I ENG102
Critical Reading and Writing II Other courses within the discipline/subject Requirements Master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in English; doctorate preferred. Effective teaching ability/excellent communication skills Demonstrated ability to teach college-level courses to high school students in a dual-enrollment setting preferred. Basic computer literacy Prior teaching experience at collegiate level preferred Experience with Canvas LMS preferred. Willingness to be a professional role model and mentor. Commitment to undergraduate education, professional growth, service and scholarship in a distinctively Christian setting, including agreement with the University's mission and goals, values, and doctrinal statement.
