Job Description:
The English Department and Humanities Division at Bellarmine University invites applications for a part-time instructor position in
English Composition:
Introduction to Academic Writing, for the fall semester (8/20/2026-12/2/2026). Class time is M/W 1:30 - 2:45. The course description is as follows: Students engage in reading and writing arguments in a variety of genres. As writers, they develop their critical and rhetorical abilities to adapt to various audiences, purposes, and contexts. Students practice writing processes, with an emphasis on revision, and creating effective texts in multiple genres. All classes meet in person.
Requirements:
At least 2 years experience teaching English Composition or some writing focused class at the college level Hold an M.A. or Ph.D. degree in English, English Rhetoric and Composition, or a related field.
