Job Description

Centenary University of New Jersey is seeking to fill daytime, on-ground positions of Adjunct Instructor of Writing for Fall Term, 2026. Centenary University is a vibrant, growing and innovative independent, applied liberal arts University with a student body of over 2000, which includes students from 21 states and 13 foreign countries. Responsibilities will include:
  • A demonstrated ability for and special interest in teaching the University's first year composition course
  • Participate in developmental workshops Required qualifications include:
  • MA or PhD (English, Composition/ Rhetoric preferred)
  • Demonstrated, successful University or university teaching experience
