Princeton, NJ Salary Range or Pay Grade:
$83,100 - $87,500 Description The Department of English at Princeton University has an occasional curricular need for lecturers to teach, co-teach, and/or lead precepts (sections) in department courses, and accepts applications in advance in the event such lecturers are needed. Any successful candidate will attend weekly lectures, lead weekly discussions, hold regular on-campus office hours, meet with the course instructor(s), and assess student work. Appointments and duty time assignments are subject to enrollments, and any available position may be for the Fall 2026 and/or Spring 2027 semester, with the potential for renewal depending on departmental need.
Qualifications Essential Qualification:
Advanced degree required; Ph.D. preferred.
Preferred Qualification:
Experience teaching at the undergraduate level.
