Position Type:
Adjunct Description The School of Arts, Sciences & Education at Walsh University is accepting applications for adjunct faculty to teach the following undergraduate English courses in composition: ENG 100- Writing Workshop Intensive work in writing paragraphs and short essays to remedy basic errors in grammar, usage, and syntax. Students should expect to spend 8 to 10 hours per semester in The Writing Center for individualized study and tutorial assistance. Computer lab used to develop writing skills. ENG 101
- Exploration of Self A study of the writing process with the personal essay as its goal. Students compose informal and autobiographical essays after studying model works representing various cultures and writings. ENG 102
- Reading/Writing Connections An introduction to research emphasizing those skills essential to production of the formal research paper.
