Job Description

BridgeValley Community and Technical College invites applications for adjunct (part-time) positions to serve in the Academic Affairs Division. These individuals will be responsible for the instruction of credit courses and clinicals; and maintaining lab equipment/areas as assigned. These positions will also be responsible for instruction of accelerated courses when applicable. We are seeking adjuncts to teach sections in the following disciplines: English and Humanities. The standard rate of pay for a three credit hour course is $1,980 per semester. Instruct credit courses by identifying learning outcomes/competencies, developing lesson plans, syllabi and curriculum which establish and communicate clear objectives for all lessons, units and projects. Complete required recordkeeping and grade entry for assigned courses Stay in communication with assigned Department Chair and Dean Other duties as assigned.
  • Master's degree in field; OR Master's degree with 18 completed graduate credit hours in field Preferred
  • Teaching experience
