Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring an English (ESL) Language Teacher to provide in-person, customized lessons to our client in Hoover, AL.
Job Information:

Students:
Two siblings, aged 5 and 8, taking individual, back-to-back classes
Location:
Lessons are to be held at the students' home in Hoover, AL 35226 (near Heritage Preschool of Ross Bridge on 2700 Ross Bridge Pkwy)
Availability:
Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday at 9:30 AM or 10:00
AM Lesson Frequency and Duration:
Once per week, 1 hour per child Current English level: To be assessed - they understand and speak English, but not fluently Native language: German Students' language needs and goals: Improving their language skills; they also need support for school
Responsibilities:
Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons Developing curricula based on learners' proficiency level and desired outcomes Monitoring students' progress and guiding learners toward learning goals Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner
Qualifications:
To have native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in English To have a degree or certification in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or a related field To have a minimum of two years of ESL teaching experience Experience working with children is a must.
