Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate Horseback Riding Instructor for English and Western recreational riding to lead our equine programs, starting with 1-on-1 private riding lessons and 30-45 minute trails. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of horseback riding aids, maintenance, and safety.

Pay Rate:

• $16/hr with 0-30 hours per week.

Minimum shift is 2 hours upon a booking of 1 lesson. Maximum shift is 3 lessons back to back. Additional hour per shift is compensated for horse management before and after the lesson.

Responsibilities:

• Teach horseback riding lessons.
• Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.
• Implement lesson plans according to rider's discipline and goals.
• Develop and maintain a positive and encouraging rapport with students, fostering a sense of accomplishment and confidence.
• Manage and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the equipment.
• Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate activity schedules.
• Monitor and maintain the health and well-being of the horses, ensuring their safety and happiness.

Experience:

• 2+ years of teaching English and Western riding is required.
• Ability to lift 25lbs and safely work during summer heat for at least 2 hours.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.

Training:

As a learning oriented company, we have a "no experience" entry point. If your application is missing experience, we may offer you an unpaid internship to learn how to instruct English and Western Recreational Riding under mentorship of an experienced instructor. Qualified candidates will be compensated for 3 shifts of training period to learn about the equipment and facility amenities.
