85719 Teacher HS•ELD (Effective 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR) SUMMARY Effectively manage the learning environment to prepare lesson plans, instruct students, evaluate and monitor students' performance in order to advance student achievement. Understand and appreciate diversity. Work collaboratively with a team to plan instruction. Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning. ELD teacher duties may also include AZELLA testing and other ADE compliance requirements for English Learners and other PHLOTE students.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Arizona Elementary Certificate K-8 AND Arizona SEI (Structured English Immersion) Endorsement OR Spanish-Bilingual endorsement OR ESL Endorsement Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO START DATE
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement

Work Calendar:
9.5 month Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits. Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position.
