Job Description
Job Overview:
- We are seeking a highly motivated bilingual English Teacher to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Teach English reading, writing, speaking and listening to students of varying skill levels
- Develop and implement lesson plans that supplement existing materials
- Foster a positive classroom environment through behavior management and classroom management techniques
- Encourage students to develop their language skills through regular writing assignments and class discussions
- Offer feedback on students' work and provide constructive criticism to help them improve their skills
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement new curricula and instructional methods
- Participate in professional development activities to stay current with best practices in English language teaching
- Monitor student progress and provide data-driven feedback to students, administration, and parents
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in English preferred
- Experience teaching English language to students of varying skill levels
- Experience with classroom management and behavior management techniques
- Experience with literacy education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
- Ability to maintain a professional and organized work environment
