Overview Bok North is seeking a passionate and dynamic English Language Arts Teacher to inspire students in developing their literacy, critical thinking, and creative expression skills. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in teaching English language arts at the middle or high school level, with a focus on fostering a love for reading, writing, and effective communication. Duties Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating instructional technology and diverse learning styles Develop engaging instructional materials that promote literacy education, creative writing, and analytical skills Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparation and project-based assessments Mentor students individually and in groups to enhance their understanding of English language arts concepts and improve academic performance Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, interdisciplinary projects, and teaching strategies to ensure consistency and excellence in instruction Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, behavior management strategies, and classroom activities Integrate educational technology tools to create IT-embedded lessons that support differentiated learning experiences Requirements Must possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
