We value your decades of experience over active state licensing. Essential Job Functions Deliver engaging, personalized instruction using Sylvan's pre-designed program materials. Greet students, build immediate rapport, and foster an encouraging environment. Manage tasks and session timing to ensure balanced, interactive learning. Evaluate and record student progress during sessions, utilizing Sylvan's token reward system to motivate learners. Maintain safety protocols and communicate student achievements or needs with Center staff. Attend periodic staff updates and complete paid certification training on Sylvan programs. Knowledge & Qualifications Four-year college degree (required). State or provincial teaching credentials ( current or expired ). Prior classroom teaching experience. Comfortable using tablet computers and basic office technology.

For Math/Test Prep Teachers:

Degree or strong background in college-level mathematics, SAT/ACT prep, or advanced reading techniques. Skills & Abilities Proven ability to engage, motivate, and mentor students. Warm, patient, and encouraging communication style. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage small-group dynamics.

Compensation & Details Pay:

$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
