Riding Instructor English/Western AZ Acres Riding is seeking an experienced horseback riding instructor to join our busy and growing lesson program. We are currently hiring for a Sunday teaching position

Sunday:

7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Additional opportunities may become available in the future for the right candidate.

Compensation:

Paid per lesson taught Average earnings typically range from $20-$40 per hour Opportunity for additional income through camps, clinics, parties, and substitute teaching

Responsibilities:

Teach private and small group riding lessons Work with riders of all ages and skill levels Create a safe, positive, and professional learning environment Assist with lesson horse care and management Monitor horses for signs of illness, injury, or lameness Communicate effectively with students and parents Help riders develop confidence, horsemanship, and riding skills

Qualifications:

Strong English riding background required Ability to teach equitation and jumping Western riding experience, including barrels and pole bending, is a plus Comfortable teaching both children and adults Confident handling horses safely and independently Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated Able to work in all weather conditions, including an unheated indoor arena

AZ Acres Riding is a busy, lesson-focused riding academy with 15 lesson horses and a well-established client base. We offer both English and Western instruction and are committed to providing a positive, safe, and educational experience for our riders. We are looking for an instructor who is passionate about teaching, values good horsemanship, and enjoys helping riders achieve their goals and knows how to have fun doing it
